10,000 Visits

I broke the 10,000 visitor mark on my blog in just over one-year. I have had visitors from around the world. About 2/3 are from Canada and the remainder spread to dozens of countries. Not everyone is a fan, a co-worker's 10-year-old daughter thought that the cartoons were drawn by a 5-year-old. It is not easy to draw with a mouse.

I have strived for justice in the Brian Mulroney brown envelope affair. I have proven to be a sound judge of character predicting that Mike Duffy would fall flat on his face. I have sought jail time for former premier Dalton McGuinty over the handling of the gas plant scandal. My favourite targets are irresponsible dog owners, urban cyclists, the foreign royal family, Harper's undistinguished cabinet, politicians that promote self-interests over the public good. I have taken aim at the elitist, uncaring dermatologists at Toronto Western Hospital and people who seek to poison morale in the workplace.

Largely misunderstood cartoon anti-hero By-Law Boy ripped the B from his costume when he found out that good behaviour is not rewarded in kind. By-Law Boy is beginning his descent into the dark side. I think a more sinister hero will emerge. We could see the return of the popular 4-heads artistic period and under water stick men. The angled art inspired by Nigerian prints may see a return. They may have the most artistic merit. I also see a return to Dilbertest cubicle cartoons. That's controversial!
