Kathleen Wynne Put Down Your Pen

I'm calling for the immediate resignation of Premier Wynne. The latest scandal of McGunity's most senior staff ordering the erasing of gas plant memos is the final straw. I'm calling for the arrest of Dalton McGuinty for theft of over $1Billion of the taxpayers money in an attempt to win two seats in a single election cycle. The subsequent cover-up is more than the people of Ontario should take. An immediate election is required before Wynne out flanks the NDP on the left in an attempt to keep her government afloat.

On the federal scene Harper's time is also running out. His fabled hidden agenda is now out in plain sight and even uglier than we thought. His "fair elections act" is an effort to steal an election and a page right out go the Republican playbook on how to rob voters of their voting rights.

Harper's sabre rattling, with his toy Star Wars light sabre, is another cynical attempt to win ethnic votes much like his policy on Israel. Harper still has a mandate for another year and half before he is replaced.

Great to see Justin Trudeau slap down the Trinity Spadina bullies in the riding association. He has won back former Liberal supporters like me that were outraged by the Ianno family stranglehold on the riding.

Stink Boy

Wet-Nap Bathing

It's controversial!

The hot water is down in my condo. It has been down since Monday and will not be repaired until Saturday. I refuse to shower in cold water. I have an aversion to cold water. Bathing has been become a distant memory, an old habit that has died off. I just ran two miles on the treadmill and I'm sweating like Jimmy minutes before they open the Lone Star Bar.

I've been forced to raid my limited supply of wet naps to scrub the delicate areas. They have limited effectiveness. This week I am participating in an audit in very tight quarters with 15 people. I'm afraid my bathing austerity will further erode my fading popularity at the company.

I may pat myself down with a damp J-Cloth sprayed with Febreze.

Trinity Spadina Election

Olivia Chow has resigned as my MP so that she can run for the mayor's job. Whether she gets my vote will depend on a comparison of her platform to that of John Tory. I'm currently undecided.

By pure coincidence I had written to the head of the federal Liberal riding association to strongly urge them not to nominate any relative of Tony Ianno as the Liberal candidate in the upcoming by-election. The president emailed me back that indeed Christine Innes, wife of Ianno, was seeking the nomination. She suggested that I might want to volunteer for other local Liberals in adjacent ridings. Interestingly she did not suggest that I might help other candidates running against Innes for the party nomination in my own riding. I could only surmise that the suggestion as that Trinity Spadina was controlled by Ianno.

The very same day that the local president emailed me party leader Justin Trudeau banned Christine Innes from running as a candidate in the by-election as a Liberal, or in general election in 2015. Bullying tactics from the Innes team was given as the reason for the ban. The newspapers were suggesting that Ianno was behind the bullying.

I have outlined the issues around Tony Ianno, who is banned from trading on the TSX for 5-years, in past blog entries. I have voted for the NDP in several past elections to avoid voting for any member of the Ianno family. Full credit to Trudeau for standing up to this family. We can only hope that the riding executive is not controlled by his team. It is time for Mr. Ianno to step away from the Liberal for good.
